They aren't sure how it works or what they'll be doing; they've just heard that other people are "making money online". Many think it will be like sitting down at a laptop or getting out their phone and, if they spend enough **TIME** and put in enough **HOURS**, they'll somehow make some money and get paid. **But it's really not like that at all.** Many of the people that I talk to tell me expressly that they want to make "a million dollars". **But here's the truth.** Most people have **NO IDEA** what it takes to make a million dollars. If they did, they'd already be doing it and not talking to me. And there are lots of ways to make a million dollars with an online business. **But here's some more truth.** Most people do not currently have the **MINDSET**, the **SKILLSET**, or access to the **CAPITAL** that's required to actually make a million dollars. Again, if they did, they'd already be doing it and not talking to me. If you're serious about wanting to make a million dollars, you need to start by working backwards. If the last step is making a million dollars, what's the step before that? What does that step take? Can you do that step? If not, take another step back. What comes before that step? Keep going until you find a step that you can do. If you want to sell a million dollars worth of inventory on eBay or Amazon, you have to have access to enough capital to fund enough inventory to support $1,000,000 in sales. Can you do that? If not, what can you do? If you want to sell $1,000,000 on eBay flipping products from yard sales and thrift stores, how many sales does that take? If your average sales price is $50, that would be 20,000 packages. **Can you process enough inventory and pack and ship 20,000 orders in a year?** That's 55 orders a day, every single day of the year. Do you have the **TIME**? The **SPACE**? These are things that you have to think about. The truth is that you will not make a million dollars simply flipping products from yard sales and thrift stores on eBay. **However, so many people who are currently making a million dollars online started with flipping.** They flipped items for some easy profits while they **learned about what it takes to run a wholesale business on Amazon** where you absolutely can make a million dollars. Remember, a lot of people **FLIP** just for **FUN**. They aren't trying to make a million dollars. They have fun while paying off credit card debt or saving for a vacation of a college fund. And the ones that want to **STEP UP** to the next level are welcome to do so. But they are stepping into something with a better understanding of what it takes to succeed at that level.
